How to Start Services

Reaching out for help is a courageous step to take. Safe Harbor provides a continuum of services to survivors of domestic violence and their children in our service area, which includes Greenville, Anderson, Pickens and Oconee Counties in South Carolina. Our services include: emergency safe shelter, counseling, advocacy, support groups, safety planning, and other supportive services. All of our services are confidential and free of charge.

To seek emergency shelter, please call our 24/7 line at 1.800.291.2139 (select option "1" to speak with someone). Please note it may take several rings for someone to answer your call, as we often experience a high call volume. If you are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing and would like to call the Help Line, call 711 (Relay SC) and tell the operator to call 1-800-291-2139, to speak with someone at our Help Line. Visit our Get Help page to learn more about what to expect when you call us.

How to Start Services

To seek community-based services (non-shelter services including counseling, advocacy, classes, assistance with an Order of Protection), please complete an online intake for community services (including counseling, advocacy, or classes). Please include a safe way for us to contact you via phone (with voicemail) or email. Once you have submitted the online form, you should hear back from a member of our team within five business days to set-up your first appointment. If you need emergency shelter or if you have not heard back from a member of our staff within five business days, please call our 24/7 line at 1.800.291.2139 (select option 1 to speak with someone).
