At the Table Luncheon

September 28th 2022 | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Eleven incidents of domestic violence are reported per day in Greenville… that’s more than any other county in our state. Join Safe Harbor at the table, an opportunity to hear, learn and be in community with those affected by domestic violence.

Keynote by Natalie Pattillo

Natalie Pattillo is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, and journalist based in New York City. She is the co-director, writer, and producer of And So I Stayed, a New York Times-acclaimed documentary about survivors of abuse who are unjustly criminalized for their acts of survival.

Because Natalie has experienced domestic violence in a past relationship, her mission to uplift survivors and their stories is a personal one. Natalie’s own experiences as a survivor, as well as the death of her sister who was killed at the hands of an abusive boyfriend in 2010, help her understand what position the survivors in the film might have been in when they were fighting for their lives.

In 2020, Natalie received the Media Award from the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence for her reporting on family abuse and intimate partner violence.
